Uniform wall thickness, elements mounted to the pump tank fit perfectly. Tight connections that withstand high pressure. In the field of hydraulic systems, tanks play a key role, especially in the context of pressure pumps. The use of appropriate housings has a significant impact on the efficiency, durability and stability of the entire system. We were approached by a client with a task to roto-form pump casings using a complex tool with a removable core, while maintaining rigorous quality standards.
The production process of this component is possible thanks to the use of the Custom PreHeating™ standard. Appropriate selection of the temperature inside and outside the mold guarantees that the product has precise wall thickness and is error-free. We easily managed to maintain the wall thickness standards even around the removable core forming the internal channel. The tests confirm the tightness and accuracy of the connections of the assembly spots.
